SESSION A: Impressionism through Surrealism 
Students will travel through time to learn about the Impressionist Movement sparked by the Industrial Revolution, through Abstract Expressionist movement using art to capture emotion, to the random playfulness of Dadaism, and finally the symbolic ideas of Surrealism. 
 
Artists include: Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky, Hans (Jean) Arp, Rene Magritte
