Illuminating the history of light in art and the masters who harnessed it. An intimate evening of dazzling art history & a guided art project featuring real gold leaf! Learn intriguing art history about the skilled masters who captured the light through original performances, custom video, theatrical lighting, immersive surround sound, and themed libations! “Luminescence”  begins in the timeless darkness before exploding into light that guides  us through the history of light in art. We focus on several key events,  movements and artists during our journey, discussing the shadows needed  to paint the light, the hope of light, the passions it fuels, and the  glowing beauty that it offers. The guided art lesson combines several techniques discussed during the  event and wraps up with attendees gilding their work with real gold leaf  (always a big hit!)
